How We Work

Working with LSPT

We start with a conversation about your goals, the situation you're facing and the support you need. From there, we discuss the services that fit and develop a proposal explaining the work, your involvement and what the engagement includes.

You'll have the scope, responsibilities, working arrangements, timing and fees to review before work begins.

Examples of how we work

You may need a focused assessment, help developing a plan or support through implementation. Some engagements combine these approaches; others provide ongoing consulting or coaching. Your proposal explains what is included.

Explore the services
  • Working sessions

Focused conversations with the people involved to work through a specific question or decision.

  • Focused assessment

A review of relevant records, operating information and conversations with your team to understand a particular concern.

  • Design and planning

Workforce, organization or HR planning that explains the options, their implications and the recommendations for your review.

  • Implementation support

Help planning the sequence of work, assigning responsibilities and preparing managers and employees for implementation.

  • Ongoing advisory and coaching

Recurring consulting, fractional HR support or individual leadership coaching, with agreed responsibilities and working arrangements.

How fees work

Fees depend on the services and the work involved. The proposal explains the fee alongside the scope, assumptions, responsibilities and timing, so you can consider the full engagement before deciding to proceed.

What shapes the fee

  • The coaching goals, session schedule and duration for individual engagements
  • The number of teams, roles or locations in scope
  • The condition and availability of the information required
  • The number of interviews, working sessions and approvals
  • Whether the work ends with a recommendation or includes implementation

What to know before we begin

We discuss the information, participation and services needed for the work. These requirements and limits help establish whether LSPT is a suitable fit for your needs.

  • Recommendations need to be based on a review of the information and assumptions, including when findings differ from an initial idea.
  • Temporary staffing, payroll processing, benefits brokerage and high-volume recruiting are outside LSPT’s services.
  • LSPT does not provide legal advice or legal opinions and is not a law firm.
  • Organizational projects need a designated person with decision-making authority, along with access to the relevant people and information. Individual coaching can be arranged directly for yourself.
