01 Using the site
By accessing lsptconsulting.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, you can close the tab and we're good. The site right now is a single-page landing for LSPT Consulting and the Real Talk newsletter, and these terms cover both.
02 The Real Talk subscription
Real Talk is a free email newsletter written and sent by me, Brittany Fountain, through Beehiiv. When you subscribe, you're agreeing to receive the letter roughly every other week at the email address you give me, along with any rare announcement email if something meaningful changes.
- Cadence. Roughly biweekly, though life sometimes moves the schedule by a few days. No guaranteed publishing calendar.
- Cost. Free. There's no paid tier, no upsell, no product attached to the subscription.
- Unsubscribe. Every letter has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Once you click it, I won't email you again unless you resubscribe yourself.
- Content. Real Talk is my personal take on things I'm seeing in the work. It's editorial writing, not consulting advice. See the disclaimer below.

03 Intellectual property
Everything on this site, including the case write-ups, the charts, the signature mark, the copy, and the underlying design, is owned by LSPT Consulting LLC or licensed to us. You can share individual pages with attribution. You can't republish the content, scrape it to train a model, or reproduce the design system without written permission from me.
04 The work isn't advice
Real Talk letters, the case write-up on the site, and anything else published here is editorial content. It's my perspective on the work, written to be useful, but it's not legal, financial, HR, or consulting advice for your specific situation. If you want a read of what would actually apply to your team, that's what a signed consulting engagement is for, and those are governed by their own agreement.
Nothing on this site creates a consulting relationship between us. Subscribing to Real Talk doesn't make you a client.
05 Liability
The site is provided as-is. I do my best to keep the information accurate, current, and honestly useful, but I'm not making any warranty that it's complete, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose you have in mind.
To the maximum extent the law allows, LSPT Consulting's total liability for anything arising out of your use of this site or the Real Talk newsletter is capped at $100 USD. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. If you're working with me on an engagement, liability for that work is defined separately in the engagement agreement.
06 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts sitting in Harris County, Texas.
07 Changes to these terms
If I'm going to change these terms, you'll get a notice from me in advance, spelling out exactly what I'm changing and when it takes effect. The update gets sent before the change happens, not after.
