Fractional HR support for the work that still has to get done.
LSPT gives growing companies experienced, ongoing HR support without adding a full time role. That can mean building the basics, cleaning up processes, supporting managers or stepping in where the work has outgrown the team.
Request a consultationWhat fractional means here
Sometimes a company just needs HR to work.
Fractional is how the engagement runs. It does not have to mean executive level strategy. Some companies need an experienced person to fix the gaps, build the basics, support managers and make sure the everyday people work gets done consistently.
- 01You do not have a dedicated HR leader, and the people work is landing wherever someone has time.
- 02Your HR person or operations leader is stretched and needs experienced help carrying the workload.
- 03Policies, job descriptions, onboarding or performance processes are missing, outdated or inconsistent.
- 04Managers need help handling employee issues and difficult conversations consistently.
- 05You need steady HR support, but there is not enough work or budget for a full time hire.
The work starts here
The decisions we help you make.
- What HR work needs attention first?
- Which policies and processes need to be built, updated or used more consistently?
- What should managers own, and when should they bring HR in?
- Which employee issues need documentation, outside counsel or another specialist?
- What should stay with LSPT, and what should move to an internal hire over time?
The engagement
What the work can include.
Fractional work usually runs as a monthly engagement. We agree on the immediate priorities, what LSPT will own, what stays with your team and how often we work together. The work can include both advice and hands on support, with a clear plan for what gets handled each week and month.

Straight answers
Questions leaders ask before we talk.
- What are fractional HR services?
- Fractional HR services give a company experienced HR support for part of the time. You get ongoing help with the HR work the business needs without hiring a full time employee for the role.
- When does a company need fractional HR support?
- Usually when the business has outgrown informal HR practices, the current team is overloaded or important people work keeps getting pushed aside because nobody clearly owns it.
- What kind of HR work can you handle?
- The scope can include policies, handbooks, job descriptions, onboarding, offboarding, performance processes, manager tools, employee relations support, recruiting process and vendor coordination. We decide what matters most before the work begins.
- Do you replace our HR team?
- I can support an existing HR team, serve as the primary HR partner for a defined period or take ownership of a specific part of the work. The responsibilities are clear from the beginning so people know where to go.
- Can you help with employee relations?
- Yes. I can help managers think through employee concerns, prepare for conversations, document what happened and follow the company process. When an issue needs legal advice, I will tell you and work alongside your employment counsel.
- Do you provide legal advice or handle payroll and benefits?
- LSPT does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm. I do not replace a payroll processor, benefits broker or attorney, but I can coordinate the work, make sure ownership is clear and work directly with those partners.
- Where do you work?
- LSPT is based in Atlanta and works with companies across the United States. Most fractional work can be done remotely, with on site time planned when the work calls for it.
