Custom HR tools and documentation

HR tools built for the way you work.

LSPT builds custom policies, models, guides and workflows around the way your company operates. You get a working tool your team can maintain, not a generic template pack.

You may not need another strategy. You may need the thing built.

Sometimes the decision is clear. What is missing is the policy, model, guide, workflow or template that lets the team carry it out. LSPT builds the tool around your business, then tests it with the people who will use it.

What we settle before we make the tool.

  1. Who will use the tool, and what do they need to do with it?
  2. What decision, action or conversation should it support?
  3. What information is necessary, and what can be left out?
  4. Who owns the tool after delivery, and when should it be reviewed?
  5. How will it be introduced, tested and improved?

What we can build.

A tool build can be a focused project or part of a larger advisory or fractional engagement. We define the user and the decision first, review what already exists, build the first version, test it with the right people and revise it before handoff.

Tools and documents

  • Staffing, capacity and labor cost models
  • Compensation and scheduling analysis
  • Performance management processes
  • Policies, handbooks and HR process documentation
  • Job descriptions and role profiles
  • Recruiting, onboarding and development tools
  • Manager guides, checklists and communication kits
  • Decision rights, workflow and responsibility maps

What you leave with

  • A tool built around your business instead of a generic template
  • Editable files your team can maintain
  • Clear instructions for the people using it
  • A named owner and review schedule
  • A version tested with the people closest to the work
  • A rollout plan when the tool changes how people work

Questions leaders ask before we talk.

What kinds of HR tools do you build?
The work can include policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, staffing models, compensation analysis, performance processes, manager guides, checklists, communication kits, responsibility maps and other tools tied to a workforce or organization decision.
Do you sell templates?
Not at this time. Right now, every tool is built for a specific company and situation. We are looking to expand this service into ready to use templates and toolkits, but that library is not available yet.
Can you update tools and documents we already have?
Yes. I can review what exists, identify gaps and conflicting versions, keep what still works and rebuild what no longer fits the business.
Can you create an employee handbook or HR policies?
Yes. I can help you make the policy decisions, draft the documents and set up ownership and review dates. LSPT is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, so employment counsel should review documents that need legal guidance.
What format will the final tool be in?
We choose the format based on who will use it and where it needs to live. Final files are editable whenever possible, and the handoff includes enough context for your team to keep them current.
Do you work with companies outside Atlanta?
Yes. LSPT is based in Atlanta and works with companies across the United States. Most tool builds can be completed remotely, with working sessions scheduled around the people who need to contribute.
